More reasons to have more kids

You know those wonderful Kodak moments that you have in life when you see something beautiful or experience something that’s out of this world and it always seems a little empty when you go through them alone?

As a kid, siblings are the perfect cure for that. Everything is so new to them and they’re always amazed by the stuff they see like fish swimming in the sea or airplanes flying past in the sky. Then they turn to each other and go “LOOK! AN AIRPLANE WOWWWWW!!!” and have someone share that excitement. After a while, they realize parents are all like “um, ok, yay I guess.”

Or when you’re cranky and there’s someone to pat you on the shoulder and say it’s ok.

Or just to hug it out once in a while because you can never have too many hugs.

On the one hand, there’s the incessant bickering and toy snatching and shrieking. On the other hand, there’s this, which makes all that seem almost bearable. It’s my momnesia talking but I’m going with the hand with the hugs and you know what this means… I need more babies!!

PS. On a separate note, the winners for the deuter giveaway are announced. Congrats to Kless and Yen, let me know your addresses via email and the deuter bags will be coming your way.

thks for the reminder of the beauty of having kiddos. but motherhood seriously kicks my ass. i’m not impatient enuff n i feel extremely bad after i snap. i feel like d worst mother in the world so i shd stop having kids. (i only hv an 18-mth-old son.) sigh. how do u recover after a rough episode wif ur kiddos?

but of cos, just 1 sunny smile from the kiddo and all will be well again. not 100% though. i still feel like s@#% after being impatient wif my son after he fussed all of last night.

Oh, I know how infuriating kids can be and I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve lost my cool with them. But they give me reason to smile way more than they make me upset so that balances things out a bit.

How you make them hug each other so much? My girl is still ok but my boy just didnt want any hug from the sister. He is always snatching her toys, sticking out his leg to trip her when she walk pass or sit on her when she is laying down on the mattress. I no longer has any patience with telling him to love her sister.

They will probably pick it up eventually. I guess it’s because we’re really big on hugs at home so they’re very used to it. Sometimes, I also force them to do it. True story.
