While I may have given you in the course of reading this blog the impression that I am a stay-at-home mother with a rich husband and live in a huge property with three maidservants, the reality is that I do help to pay the bills and bring home some bacon.

I’m a freelance writer working on regular projects and ad-hoc ones whenver they come by.

Presently I’m writing essays for General Paper (GP) guidebooks and that’s been taking up most of my time the past 2 months or so (it pays reasonably well!).

I’ve written for guidebooks on parenting for the local governing board on family development (MCYS) and also various statutory boards in Singapore.

I’ve done copywriting for SMEs – brochures, business plans, company taglines – the works.

But personally, i think this blog represents some of the best and most heartfelt work that I’ve done and though it hasn’t brought in as much money (yet) as all the jobs i’ve listed above, I think I’m proudest most of Mother, Inc.
